Jump, Jump!

Ok… for all of you that thought it'd be a good idea and lots of fun to encourage a little man to keep "Dreaming Big"… here's site number two for a proposed adult arts center.

It's a bit dilapidated, (note the fence on the sidewalk to keep the curious from getting their heads caved in by souvenirs from the buildings crumbling façade… Cool).

Admittedly it has issues. Being a bit of a fixer-upper is top on the list. The Spooky neighborhood is a close second…

Cool huh?

wow very cool, you just need a benefactor with deep pockets!

Maybe it's a historical landmark, and you can get government funding to rebuild it?

it has a grand look but could eat some money!
start your wish list and find someone who cares, really cares about the arts.
on another note why just arts?
Part of the building could become a grocery store or medical or office space. Combine real business with art to help support the over head.

That building is way cooler than the other one, just for it's weirdness factor. Plus, it looks like it would have tons of natural lighting, which we all know artists love. :)

i can see that it needs some attention but what a beautiful bit of architecture. they don't make buildings like that anymore of course the other proposed building, although not quite as big, was a little gem too. maybe you can get interior shots as the process moves forward? oh, IF the process moves forward.

Id go with the first site. Lasrge artwork or an abundant amount of small artwork is hard to get upstairs and downstairs

You know... I really hadn't thought about moving things up and down the stairs. My body is starting to get cranky enough to compain when I have to simply move a load of clay just from the truck out to the garagio.
