Cutt'n Spriggs

Spent a long afternoon in the shade finally getting around to scratching out the small swirl spriggs that I needed as an accent to a series of work using "stream eddies" as a motif.

oh that'll be beautiful when you're done. what are those made of, plaster? i need to make some myself and can't decide what to use.

I definitely need to be in a quiet place to carve my little sprigs. They take a different energy to make than the pots themselves.
For Kim: plaster - bad...fine white stoneware, biscuit fired - good!

Those look great! I am having the hardest time with mine... they keep chipping away on either side of the design I am scratching out...
