Image transfer can be as simple as painting a tinted slip onto a piece of foam...


Wrap it around a green piece and ....

I'm Hooked!

There is a back story that goes with this... but until then....

Brilliant! I've been trying to find a better way to use re-usable stencils on irregular shapes -- this could be just the ticket!

you can use the same sort of foam to transfer silk screens onto clay! just use ball milled underglazes and slips that can fit through a(n) 80-300 mesh depending on how detailed it is.
