As the Crows Fly

I'm told I don't need to fear the loneliness.

My home is the open skies.
I must believe the wind will lift me,
As the crow flies.

A few years back my daughter asked to take one of my canisters to school. She had to pick a piece of Art to talk about. I was a bit taken aback. She equated what I was doing with Art on par with Artists that they talk about in class.
She had to discuss the work and what it meant and how it made her feel...
What she said opened my eyes to my own work.
She said the crows made her feel lonely, but in a happy sort of way.
And that's pretty much what this body of work was, and still is, about.
It's okay to feel lonely.
Even when we are with those that we Love.
Our hearts can still soar with joy.
