It was good, but it was probably too long winded anyway.
The shorter version is to admit that I love taking unnecessary and avoidable risks. Now-a-days, this risk is spelled with a small “r” not a big “R”. I don’t know about you, but do you ever hear the little voice of reason saying “Just glaze it up! It’ll look great!”?
You also know how we are supposed to test a new glaze before glazing nearly a whole kiln load in it? Well… most of the load didn’t come out the way I had pictured in my head.
Sometimes that can be a good thing…. but sometimes it just sucks.
Anyone like orange?

It's a nice sherbet kind of orange!
And don't forget, it's usually the unecessary avoidable risks that lead us into the next big discovery.
Thanks for sharing, I have been really enjoying your posts.
you know...
I'm kinda likin' that second and third pic...
sometimes the 'ugly babies' grow on us, don't forget!
Orange is my favorite color! Be nice to the orange!
I think you are looking without letting go of your original vision. I like what I see!
I glazed everything in pink yesterday.I hate pink.I didn't test the glaze either but the little voice told me ;why mix more glaze and clean up brushes ?this will be a great color,go ahead go nuts with it.
I like your orange :).
Hey Fetishghost. I'm following you on twitter. Keep it up. Uploaded some new images on etsy.
well, i have to say that when i don't like one of my pots it seems to be more because it didn't match my preconceived idea about what i might look like more than it's bad... this gets confirmed when people come to the house and barely glance at the ones i'm digging and go straight to the little disappointment and say how much they like it.
oh, i forgot... orange is my favorite color, the color of a nice ale when held up to the light
