I've even found myself guilty of agreeing at points, but after being allowed to dabble and begin to re-explore high-fired reduction glazes again, I have to loudly disagree...
Brown can be warm...
Brown can have depth...
Brown can have character...
Brown is cool!

I only came out of uni after having learnt ceramic design there and I miss cone 10 reduction, because the glazes are so much richer with the brown speckles you get on the pieces.
I just can't get as interesting pieces with cone 6 oxidation and don't have accurate enough scales to keep doing tests, I have to go back to my old uni to make up tests there
