Diary and notes from a secret ceramics studio.
Wow! Thanks for sharing this-it's beautiful! (And now I am going to my studio to make things!)
Thanks for showing this video, I'm adding it to my blog also. What a potter! Barb R.Alchemy of Clay
brilliant! a meditation, thank you FG.
Very nice, Zyg. Thanks for sharing it. I interviewed "the Mama of Dada" in, I think, 1993, when she was 100. Still very lively and opinionated and still thinking that kissing was one of the highest uses of a human being. What a character.
I have this movie...woohoo not quite sure how to get it off video though :P
I want to be this woman when I get old.
Hollis, hearing that she considered that kissing was one of the highest uses of a human being just enamors me all the more.
Thanks! I watched this yesterday, then headed over to the New Crocker Art Museum. They have a Beatrice Wood piece that's VERY SIMILAR! So fun to watch her create it. Interesting to hear her talk about how she concocted her lustre glazes.
What an amazing woman!
