We celebrate in this manner because we are very much like the jazz players...
we each riff the tunes that we carry with us...
these are the conversations that people look towards us to have...
we can enjoy our book of standards...
we blaze new trails...
We can do both.

Great share! Loved listening to it this morning. Also love the phrase "these are the conversations that people look towards us to have". I think that is a great description of the relevance of art. Our conversations open up new vistas and disclose hidden wonders. Or they affirm the comforting truths we depend on. Both things play their part.
