Well it's time again to throw work back out there and see what sticks.
The deadline for entry for this years Archie Bray's Beyond the Brickyard Exhibition is the Saturday the15th and I'm proving true to my nature and leaning against the deadline just for the thrill.
(It's a bad habit I don't recommend to anyone.)
These are what's heading towards the jury, and while I'm happy with what I can submit, I'm always hesitant... I've been told the works are best experienced in person rather than glimpsed in photos.
There is so much narrative lost in a snapshot. A picture can help entice you to wonder, but you need to handle the work to explore it's nature.
Grumble grumble grumble...

rockin it zyg as per usual!
It really is too bad the judges can't touch your work. I had the pleasure of holding one of your pieces at the blog show in Southern Pines and they are the nicest feeling pieces, I still remember that! Photos, although nice enough, really don't give them the credit they deserve :)
